El Paso, Texas

We are now in El Paso, in fact, have been for a few days now. We tried to get our ice maker fixed but the repair man here really didn't know what he was doing so we had him remove it completely from the freezer to give me more freezer space, not like I needed it.

The weather has been wonderful and the people going on our Mexico caravan have been coming in each day since we've been here. It is fun meeting new people and getting everything in order for the trip.

We went to lunch today at a Golden Coral, Texas style. We thought that all Golden Corals were the same. NOT! This was geared towards the people eating there, Mexicans. There were some flags made by school children that I thought were neat. They were made out of the construction paper rings that we used to make and connect and directorate our Christmas trees with. You can see in the picture that they were neat. There was an American flag, a Mexico flag, and a flag of Texas. I have the American and Texas on in the picture.

Texas and American Flags made out of paper rings.

That just about does it for now. I will be creating a "blog" page for our Monaco's in Motion and will add a link here when it is all set up.
